Creating a Client Connection Point Group

This topic describes the procedure to create a client connection point group.

Before you begin this task:
You must have the role of systemAdmin or organizationalAdmin to create a client connection point group in an organization.


Similar Connection Points are grouped together as a client connection point group. All the connection points created under a group must be of JMS type.

  1. On CUSP > My Applications, click (System Resource Manager). The System Resource Manager window appears and lists available Service Containers in the Service Containers App Palette.
    Note: Alternatively, you can click to view the existing Service Containers.
  2. Right-click a Service Container and select Manage Client Connection Point Groups choice. Connection Point Groups dialog box is displayed listing the existing groups.
  3. Click to add a connection point group. A row is added in the Connection Point Groups table.
  4. Type a name for the group and click .
  5. The Connection Points - <Connection Point Group Name> table appears and lets you and create connection points.
  6. Click .

    A client connection point group is created.

After you complete this task:
Restart the Service for the changes to be effective.
